It appears that she was granted tenure at the institution solely on the basis of her performance and the positive ratings she received on student surveys. She managed to get copies of each one since she was eager to read them. The fact that Dane submitted a very critical questionnaire about her and her teaching approach is what piques her interest in him. She calls him out because she's upset.
